What’s the difference between uncovered, covered, covered with electric, and enclosed storage?
Every SpotDog location offers a variety of storage options for your boat, RV, or vehicle. Our uncovered storage units allow for the option of extremely large parking spaces. Our covered storage is usually smaller than uncovered but offers protection from the elements and springtime debris. Covered with electric offers the option of covered parking with the addition of access to an electrical unit with up to twenty amps. Finally, our enclosed storage is usually smaller than our covered parking. Still, it allows ultimate protection and availability for storage of more than just a vehicle if you need storage for extra items.

Can I change my storage unit size?
Yes! If you find yourself in need of more - or less - space, our team can help you find a better unit for your needs. At SpotDog, you’re not locked into any long-term contracts, so you can change units at any time, depending on our current availability.
Can I buy boxes and packing supplies at SpotDog?
SpotDog does not offer any boxes or packing supplies at this time, but there are many optional amenities such as 20 amp services, air compressor stations, dump stations, and more!
What kinds of boat, vehicle, and RV storage are available?
At select facilities, we offer uncovered, covered, covered with electric, and enclosed storage for your vehicle, boat, or RV storage needs. Explore our Storage Locator to see which local SpotDog facility offers these storage options.
How do I store a vehicle at SpotDog?
To store a vehicle at one of our facilities, we ask for proof of registration and insurance. Once those are confirmed, you can store your vehicle as long as you’d like in our on-site parking lot - we don’t require any long-term agreements!
What amenities are available at SpotDog storage facilities?
Every SpotDog facility is unique, which means our locations are equipped with a different set of amenities. Simply view our Storage Locator to filter the amenities you need for your upcoming storage experience.
Are moving amenities available at every SpotDog location?
Unfortunately, our facility does not offer any moving amenities at this time.
What are SpotDog’s universal amenities?
Even though every SpotDog location is unique, we also offer a set of universal amenities at every location that includes the following:

- Dump Stations and Air Compressor Stations
- Clean Facilities
Can I reserve a storage unit?
Yes, you can reserve a unit online or over the phone for free! Tell us when you’d like to move in, and once that date is confirmed, we will hold that exact unit for you.
How do I rent a storage unit online?
To rent a unit online, simply click on the rent now button at the top of our website or on the SpotDog location nearest you.
Can I view a facility online before renting a unit?
We offer illustrated images that allow customers to view the space and better understand our amenities and what can fit in each space to better understand which option the customer may need.
How long can I rent a unit?
We don’t have any long-term agreements at SpotDog, so you can rent your unit for as little as a month or two or upwards of a year if you’d like! If circumstances change, we can always extend or shorten your storage stay with us.
How much does a storage unit cost?
A storage unit’s cost depends on the size and features of the unit. The larger the unit, and the more features you require, the price is likely to change. We recommend reviewing your storage requirements and comparing unit sizes to find something that fits your budget and your belongings.
When are payments due?
SpotDog payments are due on the 1st of each month. We also offer an autopay option for our customers, which will be processed on the same date.
How do I access my storage unit?
You, selected family, and any business associates can access your local facility by using our secure keyless entry. Only contacts you authorize will be able to access your unit.
Daily access is 24/7, so you can always access your vehicle whenever you need it.
When can I receive help from a team member regarding a rental?
You can always receive help from a SpotDog team member during our business hours, so check your local SpotDog’s hours of operation to see when a team member can assist!
